We are based in Otley, but we also cover Harrogate, Bradford, Ilkley, Pool, Guiseley, Burley-in-Wharfedale, Shipley, Keighley and North Leeds.
Our sessions are usually based in the student's home. We also arrange group revision sessions at a mutually convenient location.
For regular tuition, our rates are as shown in the table below.

Dr Nicola James (Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Physics) Nicola has 25 years' experience of private tutoring, teaching GCSE, AS, A2 and undergraduate medical students. She is a doctor of biochemistry, who worked for 16 years in biomolecular research laboratories at the Russell group universities: King's College London, University College London and Leeds University. Nicola obtained PhD Studentship funding from the British Heart Foundation in 1997, to investigate the role of blood clotting proteins in the pathology of heart disease and cancer at UCL. She subsequently joined the cardiovascular research team at Leeds University in 2001. In 2006, Nicola moved into the field of virology to investigate the role of the host cell nucleus in viral replication; the data from this work was published in 2010 in the Journal of Virology. |

Tony Sutcliffe (English Literature and Language) Tony has 25 years of full-time secondary teaching experience at Rossett school, Harrogate covering all abilities and age ranges from Key Stage 3 to A-level English Language and Literature. Tony started his teaching career after a number of years as a professional journalist. |
Achieving good examination grades is not just about understanding the course information (although that is crucial). Answers to questions must be expressed using keywords that are consistent with the examinations' mark schemes.
